  • St. Pattys day is alway fun! It's a day of Green Goodness, drinking, and a lot of celebrating! This year I participated in Rich & Bennett's 18th Annual St. Patrick's Day Pub Crawl. I had so much fun! The Pub Crawl was located in Uptown Charlotte and included many participating bars, transporation partners, and discounted hotel accommodations. This year's St. Pattys Day was on a Saturday and the weather was perfect for Charlotte, North Carolina. How does the crawl work? The 'tickets' are distinct t-shirts that are pre-sold prior to the pub crawl and they are also sold the day of. What does the shirt get you? An event Koozie, drink specials and access to the participating venues! Without your ticket, most bars/clubs will be charging around $5-10 cover charges, so I think it is definitely worth purchasing! The shirts grant you access to participate in the Bar Crawl and enter into the participating venues FREE! Then what? Check in at the Bar Crawl Party lot and be prepared to dance, eat from the food trucks, drink at the bars, and meet new people! There are over 40 event partners that participate in the bar crawl! Wow. I went to the Local, Suite, and Ink & Ivy and had sooo much fun! The event was well organized and accommodating to the large crowd. Parking ranged between $7-$20 for the parking lots/garages and there were the usual street parking places but the majority were filled by the time I arrived. There are awesome drink specials too!! The 16oz Aluminum But Light Bottles were $4, New Amersterdam drinks were $5, and Tullamore Dew was also $5. Ohhhh want to know the best part? Rich & Bennet give back to charities! That is what I'm most excited about! This year they give back to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and Project Outpour! Like isn't this absolutely amazing! I will definitely be participating in more of their events and had a great time for St. Pattys Day!
