Thai food is something I love to eat. My first experience with it was as a kid. I had a friend who's parents had been missionaries in Thailand. My friend always wanted to trade for my "normal" food and I was happy to have her exotic foods. I finally found a green curry with the same depth of flavor of my friend's mom at Chada. It was amazing. The pork has a nice citrus leaf marinade and the grilling gives it a nice caramelized flavor. The curry sauce was perfect and the dish was well balanced, like all Thai should be. It was not overly sweet, like most Americanized Thai tends to be. I also had the shrimp satay appetizer and still walked out of the restaurant under $25. I was a little disappointed that there was no wine by the glass. I was dining alone and driving, so no bottle for me. I would consider adding the option of a featured wine by the glass, for those who can't drink an entire bottle.
