  • This restaurant is a top-of-class restaurant. Anybody giving less than 5-stars cannot afford the $22 brunch price. These are my ratings of individual foods: prime rib: 10/10 creamy rice: 9/10 croissant: 10/10 lavender shortbread cookie: 10/10 chocolate chip cookie: 10/10 whipped cream (on cake): homemade in their kitchen horseradish: 10/10 omelets: 10/10 made-to-order includes gouda chees tea: 10/10 loose-leaf (no tea bag) earl grey smoked salmon: 10/10 includes capes, crème, sweet pickles, onions Notice most of their food items rank 10 out of 10, i.e. perfect. So how is it possible that patrons even think about giving a less than 5-star rating? The only reason I can think of - they cannot afford the price, therefore their expectations are too high. This restaurant has the best food (BY FAR) of any sit-down formal restaurant in the area and for the price, it just makes the place a 5-star place. Oh, and the service is great. What is wrong with patrons these days? Do patrons expect restaurants to buy them a trip to the moon just so patrons will eat their food? My message to all the posters who rated this business less than 5-stars, "Take a chill pill, stay home and eat the frozen processed food you so crave for $1.99 with a coupon. Leave gourmandize to the rest of us who appreciate it."
