| - Wow! Amazing place! Love it and I'm picky and drive all the way from Los Angeles to see Dr. Richard Burgmeier MD and his awesome staff! Since I'm on TV a lot my face is important to me, and even though it's a pain in the butt to go so far, these guys are so worth it! I first came to Perfect Skin several years ago to accompany a friend who was getting a fraxel laser treatment to diminish wrinkles, sun damage and discoloration and dark spots. I was JUST going to drive him home. Ha ha! When I saw the incredible before and after results, the professionalism and the caliber of experts and state-of-the-art laser equipment I was quite frankly shocked! The before and after pictures (un-retouched) were astonishing, getting rid of cancer-causing sun damage, wrinkles, acne scars and making some people look ten or even 15 years younger! I talked to a bunch of people in the lobby who had been coming for a long time and they all raved about Perfect Skin. I was still a little skeptical until I started trying it myself! I did the "fraxel," and I did the Photo Facial another time (I'm a beach runner and have been out in the sun my whole life so I needed serious help!). Then I got brave and did a little bit of botox between my eyebrows so I wouldn't get those nasty "scrunchy grooves" that make us look like we're mad, then the laser for spider veins on my legs and finally--- oh, yeah--- the underarm "pit hair!" lol. Basically, I have been driving to Perfect Skin from Los Angeles now for four years and I wouldn't trust my face to anyone else but Dr. Burgmeier, who is a REAL doctor who used to do pediatrics and then he switched to this because he loves it so much! I've reommended Perfect Skin to six of my best friends, who have all been so happy and have recommended them to other people. The thing I'll say is this: What I love about "Dr Rick" (as I call him--- and you can too cuz Burgmeier is a little tricky to spell and say! lol) is he always errs on the side of minimalism--- meaning he thinks "less is more" and he wants to keep us looking "natural" (not like some of those women we have all seen that end up with lip injections that look like Platypus lips! lol) and he wants to help our skin stay healthy for the long haul! So he'll say: "Valli, I'm just going to do a little bit for now and we'll see what we think in a week or so. We can always go back and do a little more... but we can't undo something that doesn't look natural--- and I don't want you to look like a different person, I just want you to look exactly the same as you do, only refreshed and healthy and glowing!" Say hi to Maggie, Dr. Rick, Cassie and the whole gang for me if you go! Because... ummm... well once you have someone do your "pit hair" (lol) it's a little intimate and you are kind of bonded and like family for life after that!
