This park is less than half a mile away from where I live. It's a nice little park that is well maintained. The play areas for the kids are decent sized. There is a dog park, separated into three sections depending on the size dog you have. I don't have any dogs so I cannot give you an accurate review of how that is. However, there seems to be plenty of room with limited seating for the dog owners. There is one main building for the bathrooms which are relatively clean, by park standards. Teens like to hang out there every so often because the park is right next to Spring Valley High School. But for the most part, the teens I have come across have been well behaved.
There are a few gazebo areas with BBQ grills; I see birthday parties being held there all the time, and there's plenty of room. I have been going a few times per week lately as I have been getting more health conscious. I usually walk two laps around the entire park which takes me almost an hour; nice running trails and walkways throughout. It had rained a few days ago and some of the trails had eroded a little bit exposing the black tarp underneath. When I went back a couple days later, they had re-packed the eroded areas. So kudos to the Park Maintenance team for addressing that quickly.
I have gone different times of the day including afternoons and late evening. People there seem to be nice. I hope it stays like that for a while. It's a pretty good park.
