Review for light display, not for worship. Ample parking and so much beautiful, landscaped grounds to explore. We visited for the first time with friends a few days after Christmas and arrived right before 5 PM when the sun was going down (we have toddlers). Even when there was still a bit of light at dusk, the lights were visible and the audio recordings were playing, telling the story of Christmas. There are plaques amongst the displays, explaining either the various religious displays or the prominent portions of the Temple grounds and architecture.
The visitors center is beautiful, the fountains and reflection pools sparkling and the light displays are unique and abundant. Glad that we made the trip to check this out. When we left at 6, it was getting very crowded and cars were circling trying to find spots I recommend going early as we did. A major plus is the bathrooms that they have specifically for visitors.
