  • Horrible experience - we booked a cabana for my bachelor party several months in advance, ($1,400 minimum spend for Saturday - 12 people coming from all over the country, so we had to plan ahead), and then 3 days before the weekend we got this from their manager (My best man booked it so I redacted his name): "Hi -----------! Unfortunately due to high demand with cabanas we need to adjust your minimum to $3000 + tax & gratuity or find another table location that best suits the $1400 minimum your at. My apologies for the inconvenience. Please respond at your earliest. After watching the crowd at Maya and dealing with their bouncers and manager... I can confidently say the W was far more professional, respectful, and fun than Maya. I have no bias here, I just want to warn anyone who plans to book a table or try to plan with Maya - they do not believe in reservations or laws. if we had more time and energy we would have reported them to the BBB for failing to honor a contract.
