After suffering for 3 days with a cervicogenic headache, I called Yudi yesterday and asked her advice. She got me in today with Dr. Ghuman again for shots in my neck and head. I cannot thank Yudi enough for being a caring professional and ensuring that patients are seen in crisis as soon as possible. Thank you Dr. Ghuman and Yudi!!
I have been a patient here for 7 years. I've had two highly successful surgeries performed by Dr. Grover and ongoing pain management from Dr. Ghuman. I read a lot of complaints from people about the wait times. I would like to address that. The reason they are always busy is because they're good. Not just good, awesome and patient focused. It's like that box of chocolates, when an appointment is made, they don't know what they're gonna get. You could just need a medication adjustment or you could be in a crisis and require more time than was allotted. Either way, when you are with Dr. Grover or Dr. Ghuman, you will receive uninterrupted attention and compassion for every issue. These doctors care deeply about the patients so when you are in a crisis, they're not going to turn you away because they are booked. I have been that patient on more than one occasion and have been brought in without an appointment because they care. After one of my surgeries, I sneezed so forcefully, my incision split open. I didn't have an appointment but my husband was told to bring me in to the office and Dr. Grover closed the incision in the office. And yep, people were waiting with appointments and I made them wait more. He could have sent me to the emergency room but he's not that guy.
When I have a maintenance type appointment for meds or follow up I plan to be there for a few hours and sometimes I am and sometimes I am in and out. I always bring a book, a snack, my phone and whatever I need to pass the time. If these doctors weren't the very best, they would not be so busy. So the next time you are told the doctor is running behind, it might be because another patient had an emergency and one day that patient might be you.
As far as the clerical staff is concerned, it's not their fault. I have seen people yell and scream and throw things at these girls and it's just embarrassing for you the tantrum thrower. Stop acting like you are the only one in pain and acting self important. Grow up, put on your big kid panties and wait your turn.
