  • I was weary of going into an art supply store that wasn't a mega-chain like Michael's, etc...sometimes employees can be snooty to people like me, who are not refined in the arts. But the staff is awesome!!! I was there to pick up supplies for an eccentric (somewhat erotic) project, and was completely embarrased when I had to explain to the staff why I needed paint that is ok for the body, but NOT body paint. Although I felt flushed afterwards, the assistant manager was very professional and was able to guide me through the varieties of paints that would be "safer" to use. I didn't feel judged at all and he even said "don't worry, we're all artists here". The cashier even helped me pick out my colors :) both of the guys had tremendous patience with me and that will definitely have me coming back!
