  • An unexpected find in Bloorwest village where the restaurants could use more variety. There's already 2 other falafel joints on this strip, but this one stands out. Best value (2 dinner plates for $16, 2 sandwiches for $10) and by far the most toppings for no additional charge. Go over to Ali babas across the street and you'll see what I mean. They even have a sour mango sauce that really balances the flavours. Service is slightly on the slow side as they seem to cook the chicken in batches, which isn't a bad thing if you're looking for fresh. The rice on the other hand was undeniably stale (I'm thinking reheated from lunch?) 4 stars because despite its flaws it's better than 90% of falafel places in the city!
