  • I couldn't figure out if Edna was a waxing professional or my new best friend. Turns out, she's both! It's times like this that I wish yelp had a 100+ star option. Being the special little snowflake I am, I confused myself and showed up at 10:45 for an 11:30 appointment time. Edna was so gracious and took me in early even though she didn't have to. Her studio sits off to the right to the reception area (she shares space with another salon) and is adorned with unicorns. Hello 80's ladies, this is the place for us! I was really nervous about the wax since it had been awhile and I was a little longer than necessary and also because of the intimacy of the service. She had no qualms about either and got right to work. She is quick, efficient and so super easy to talk to. Unlike other salons that can seem little too pompous or sterile, she chatted away and before i knew it, I was finished! She also left NO STRAYS which is a first for me. I also appreciated that she didn't automatically slather a random "cooling" lotion on my skin as I do not care for those. I came to her initially because of the location (super close to my house) and her $20 first brazillian offer (skip the groupon and just go straight in) and the $45 cost after the initial special which is less pricey than other salons. Basically, she is the best and I will be going back every 4 weeks. Thanks Edna!!! You da best!
