  • So.. the background story...two months ago I made reservations at Zinc Bistro to celebrate my boyfriends birthday. To make sure I had the perfect evening planned I called the restaurant and spoke to the awesome event coordinator to plan a very special dinner menu. In taking her advice on the best dinner items, we set the birthday menu. When we arrived to the restaurant we were seated at a nice table in the beautiful courtyard and once we ordered our drinks the five course meal began. Wonderfully prepared, the meal was amazing and a perfect mix of flavors! The onion gratinee tastes as good as it looked on the food network. Warm, cheesy, and full of flavor. The duck confit with roasted corn and foie gras appetizer was amazing. For dinner we had the diver scallops and flat iron steak, fabulous!!! Definitely the meals of choice. Finally my boyfriend was presented with a chocolate ganache soufflĂ© steaming hot and fresh from the oven. I definitely earned the GF of the year award for this experience. Thanks to the staff at Zinc Bistro for helping me create an evening BF will never forget. Cheers!
