Dogs and dog people FTW!
I brought my baby (who's an almost 4 year old Australian Cattle Dog) in for a new collar, specifically leather. Upon entering, I was warmly greeted and immediately asked if I was looking for anything in particular. I really appreciated that since I'd never been in the store before.
I let her know of my intention and was already in the right area. The super kind gals weren't pushy at all, extremely knowledgeable and ready and willing to help if and when necessary. I have never felt so comfortable in any kind of store before. Usually, I get this weird anxiety because I feel like I'm being talked into or get this feeling like I should be spending more money. Not the case here. They let me go at my own pace- browsing through all of the aisles, picking out a new type of frisbee (flying squirrel, $10), a real nice leather collar ($9) and a few a la carte treats, consisting of dehydrated turkey necks, chicken and duck feet.
If they don't have something in stock at their store, they are more than happy to call their other 2 locations in the valley or figure out something else. They have a rewards program that also keeps a record of your previous purchases. This comes in handy if you can't seem to remember something you loved (or want to avoid) for future purchases.
