A quaint historic hotel with eclectic staff. The side entrance nearby the elevator access was convenient and the lobby was historically cute. Breakfast in the morning was quite tasty but did not take in the free museum visit. The hotel was clean, but the toilet plumbing in the rooms was rather subpar - ours kept on breaking with a leaky gasket.
What really drags down the rating is that the mattresses themselves are circa 1933. Do not expect a good nights rest here unless you love sleeping in a literal divot. While traveling, one thing I demand is a comfortable bed for a good nights rest. Here they could simply invest in new mattress to greatly improve their customers' experience.
