| - This may be Metro Phoenix's busiest Costco location, and its most interesting in terms of its customer base. Read other reviews for some humorous observations, which may be mostly accurate and entertaining.
Just want to say right off the bat that there is a traffic problem in this store at the "third turn" when you head towards where the cash cows are for sale: the value-added TP, paper towels, dog kibble, multi-bottle water packs, and more.
I would be more specific, but I am too lazy to look up the longitude and latitude of same.
Those who frequent here will know exactly where I mean. For those who have never shopped here, it is roughly, in early spring, between the small citrus trees and the bags of yellow lemons (near the last row of freezer aisles, far back) whereas mid-summer, it is between huge boxes of watermelons and almost-as-huge plastic clams of chicken salad.
Yet, I love this location. I love to people watch. I love to see how people react in this Costco's cart-to-cart netherworld of Scottsdale's supposed elite. I think it's total fun when I have the time. If I don't, I head over to Costco in Paradise Valley. Nevertheless, the employees and service are terrific at this Scottsdale location.
Synopsis: this is Grand Central Costco Station, but a great destination when you have the time.
