'Twas two days before Christmas and all through the streets, I was seeking for a bicycle for my awesome hubby. And the fact that he has not owned a bike in almost fifteen years made it the perfect gift. But where to go? The Bicycle Cellar, of course! From looking online, I knew I wanted to go to a place that was pocket-friendly and knowledgeable. Well, we got that upon entering the place. Alex greeted us and made us feel like we were the only customers in the room. Well, we were the only ones there at the time but that's besides the point! The price did not make my wallet tear up because it was reasonable for what we wanted and we got some bicycle knowledge while making our purchase. Firstly, we learned that experts call bicycles that are sold at chain stores like Target, Walmart BSO's which stands for Bicycle Shaped Object. They are NOT real bikes because they break down real fast and most don't make it past a year. And to think I almost got one there for the hub. Secondly, we learned that bicycles are a hot commodity out here. At least, 7 bikes go missing each day in the Tempe area. So, we got ourselves a nice bike and the mother of all locks!
