A car dealer is a necessary evil. Too bad you can't buy a car at the hardware store or the grocery store. Too bad it needs to be so complicated and stressful.
I was treated fairly and honestly. Pleased with their service dept. Like my Yaris.
Service is a bit pricey. Waiting area is adequate.
After buying my Yaris, they sold my name and address to junk mailers offering me discounts on more cars (how stupid was that?). And I got the typical customer satisfaction survey from Toyota asking me a dozen questions about the dealer. I wrote on the form that I did not buy a dealer, I bought a car. Why not ask me about the car? But GM did the same when I bought my Aveo too back in 2003.
Bottom line, would I go back and buy another car here? Perhaps. Since they sold my name/address there is a huge dis-incentive. And getting junk mailings about car discounts in the mail is somewhat odd (isn't a new car purchaser really not likely to run out and buy another one anytime soon? or am I stupid?) I tend to avoid businesses that violate my privacy.
Service dept is always "first come, first served" and rather overpriced. $62 for an oil change and tire rotation? And they are constantly sending me discount coupons in the mail, none of which can be used.
