Trekked across town to try the wood-fired pies as featured on DDD. We tried the bruschetta which was delicious. As other Yelpers mentioned, it is not served as the typical French bread with tomato topping, but rather as a plate of wood-fired flatbread slices with the topping on the side. DELICIOUS.
We tried the Italian Stallion. I'm sure this is one of their most popular dishes. The perfectly cooked pie was LOADED with delicious meats.
I took a chocolate cannoli to-go, I'll update the review once I've tried it.
The service was also quite helpful and friendly. The store wasn't terribly busy mid-week just after opening at 11AM.
My only complaint is the location which is in central Glendale, and not conveniently located. Either way, the food was tasty enough that I'll be sure to trek back out again.
