This is a phenomenal gun club. A true outdoor, no frills, membership only range. Joining is easy. Get into a safety class where they go over the 10 different ranges, events, and safety information. $200 a year, plus an active NRA membership.
The summer hours are 7AM-7PM, which is great. The ranges are clean and you have a lot of space to yourself. Even on what I would consider a "crowded" Saturday and Sunday morning, I still had a entire bay on Range 2 to myself.
The guest policy here is fair. You can bring up to three extra people with you and they pay $5 to get in. (Cash only). Very reasonable compared to the commercial ranges and indoor ranges around here. If you need a target stand its $10 (cash) and they'll refund it when you bring it back.
The view of Red Rock and the mountains in the background is great. The gate staff are friendly when you check-in.
The website (http://dsrpc.org/) is updated frequently with information. I don't participate in any events, but there is a wide selection to choose from. Driving through the club events seem to have an active attendance. One Saturday a month they do a cleanup day, so no shooting. If you participate I think they credit you $50 off your renewal.
