| - I wanna give this store a good review. I really do. Thalia is helpful when my wife was shopping there. She spent time with my wife. That was the first time we visited the nicely air conditioned store.
Later that day, we even went back and she helped us again. This second trip to the store was to choose a nice bracelet for myself. Yes, myself. I don't buy bracelets but that day I did and was happy.
HOWEVER, the first trip I mentioned to the store included the purchase of an gift/item that was supposed to be shipped to a relative out of state. We were assured that it will only take 3 business days and it will be there, rest assured. This was on a Wednesday. Seven(7) calendar days later, we found out it was not received by the relative. We called so it was sent.
First, they should not promise what they can not do. I sometimes think there is lack of coordination in this place.
Also, I don't care what technical difficulties they have with shipping or who was on vacation or not. These things are supposed to be transparent to customers. Always.
Third, $5 for shipping a super small and light item? Most stores have free shipping BUT we understood and agreed. Turns out that $5 was not only to send but to wait and be hassled. It is like, "Here pay for this service that is not reliable. And yeah, follow up with us even if you shouldered the cost already". That is JUST $5 dollars. In Vegas, that is nothing. But, it is a principle thing.
Bottomline, we were happy with the selling part and the help and the items. But I wish I can return them just because they annoyed us with messing up some task for businesses as simple as shipping.
Lastly, all we got for the mix up was "Sorry". Some businesses go out of their way to get your business back by giving you something for the trouble. I am NOT willing to come back to deal with this place. They have good items here but I HATE WASTING my time.
