I did not have the seriously bad experience of reviewer Laurie, but the $9.00 a day 'facility fee' that they only tell you about on the way out really ticked me off. They try to justify this as having 'no hidden fees - everything is itemized' but geez, if I can't opt out of the water bottle, wifi, and exercise room, just include it in the room rate. Why make a moderately good stay into an irksome one just as I'm about to leave? Beds were comfortable, room was tiny. Bathroom was so-so but bathroom lighting terrible. Concierge was good but front desk clerk did not seem to speak much English. I asked for a quiet room away from elevator and ice machine and she managed to find me the one room that was squarely between the elevator and ice machine. Fortunately noise wasn't much of a problem. Avoid. Try the Yorkville Marriott instead. Comparable price, handy to metro. Much better room.
