I do not recommend signing up for personal training at this gym. I signed up for 6 months of personal training and paid in full for all my sessions (paid the full amount up front instead of paying per session). I did so to receive a discount on my personal training which would reduce my cost to $50/session.
Before signing up I inquired about the cancellation policy and was advised that I would be able to cancel at anytime given I meet certain circumstances (relocating, injury, etc.) where and receive a refund for any unused sessions.
I had to eventually relocate due to me taking a new job offer. I reached out to Gold's Gym and asked to be refunded for my unused personal training sessions. They advised me that they do not handle reimbursements and that all personal training is handled through a 3rd party (Triumph Management LLC).
As advised by Gold's Gym I would be fully refund and that I would have no issues. I have provided Triumph Management all the correct paper work indicating my proof of relocation. From offer letter, letter head from the HR department and new utility bills.
Gold's Gym and Triumph Management refuse to reimburse me and state a relocation is not a qualifying reason for reimbursement. I felt I was lied to by the Gold's Gym representatives who assured me I would be refund if by any way I would not be able to complete my personal training sessions.
