  • There are 2 main archetypes of donut, the denser cakier donut (like say, Dunkin Donuts) and the airy pillowier donut (Krispy Kreme does this). This place specializes in the soft pillowier one. I was talking to the guy running the place and we were talking about my home town of San Diego, and he was even able to name a few top donut places, dude knows his donuts. Anyway, real cool guy. Ask him about the donuts if you have any questions since there's a pretty big variety. There's not much more you can ask for, soft pillowy donuts (not that there's anything wrong with the cakier kind). Donuts are just under a dollar each, donut holes were... like a dollar for a dozen? I freaking love donut holes. They tasted just right and had a good mouth feel. Will definitely visit again.
