I went in today to purchase a few fresh produce items. I had something that was $0.99 per pound and weighed the item at 1/2 pound in the produce department. When I got to the register, it weighed at 3/4 pound. I pointed it out to the cashier who then weighed the meat of the person behind me in line. It also weighed significantly higher than her item was labeled from the butcher department, which he blamed on the paper it was wrapped in. At that point I left and went somewhere else to purchase my groceries; I won't return. The scales should be calibrated regularly to ensure accuracy.
