  • Peter's No Frills is easy to pass by located where College and Dundas meet. I've driven by it many times not realizing what a gem it is. When you're looking for a all-in-one grocery store downtown, this is the one to head to. Plenty of parking, no burb envy when you're here. And anyone who was a fan of the now closed Price Chopper located off Queen Street behind the Gladstone Hotel will be happy with this No Frills. It's a huge grocery store with everything you'd find at a Loblaws without the fancy point-of-purchase accoutrements and adornments. Just basic fluorescent lights and nice wide aisles to park your cart in. Despite the basic appearance, it is well kept and clean. And there is a indie pizza joint just outside the doors into the parking lot. I haven't tried it but you know it will be good in a market flush with za places just waiting to take your order. Next to that a dentist, wow, drugstore and walk-in clinic. That's convenience!
