  • Impressed with this property wife and I have stayed at two other Holiday Inn Expresses over the last 2 weeks of vacation one in springfield Massachusetts and the other in Freeport Maine. Both were newer but This one here in Lakewood Ohio is so much more modern and roomy . Great pool area , would make a great family reunion hotel . Any ways wife and I had been driving for 13 hours headed home to Michigan. I hate booking through those discount internet sites like hotels .com or any number of others. I use a app called iexit down loaded for free . It tells us what is at the exits ahead of our drive . Every time we see a Holiday Inn Express I call direct and always get the nicest folks , booked on the spot normally when were an hour down the road. Ask for the veteran discount saves me a few bucks. Any ways the guy who checked us in was extremely friendly , the room is huge and i live the soft comfortable bedding, large screen TV , frig. And Microwave really helps. Will stay here again if we come back this way
