  • Whenever I'm given the option to pick a dinner spot for a romantic, special meal, Tarbell's is my 1st choice. To start, the service here is absolutely outstanding! From the host, to the bartenders, to the wait staff...everyone here is friendly, knowledgeable and makes you feel like you are in for a special treat. Extra bonus goes to the fact that they are attached to a wine shop, so you get some really fun wines at a really decent cost. Talk to the sommelier, and they will lead you in the right direction. And then to the star of the restaurant, the FOOD!!!! Holy mother, it is simply out of this world. I have tried a few items on the menu (scallops, shrimp, meatloaf...) but there is 1 dish in particular that keeps us coming back. That dish, is the House-Made Ribbon Pasta. It's almost hard to think about this dish when I'm not there, because it makes me salivate and crave it through my core, however if I have to describe it, all I can say is it's fresh pasta done perfectly, with a sauce so buttery and warm that it'll make your toes curl in excitement. Plus, the homemade chicken sausage meatball is unlike anything I've ever eaten anywhere, and I would gladly buy a dozen of them to have on hand at home. This dish is seriously that good. If you are looking for a special meal that will leave you satiated and smiling, I highly recommend spending an evening at Tarbell's. Trust me....you're gonna love it :)
