So excited to find an authentic Italian restaurant in north Phoenix! It felt more like a neighborhood restaurant in Manhattan, with the decor, comfortable vibe and exceptional food and service. We had two pasta dishes. The shrimp romano was a special that night -- with the biggest shrimps I've ever seen, sauteed with mushrooms, pancetta and peas in a light white wine sauce flavored with garlic and lemon. Out of this world. My husband had a spicy red sauce ziti with sausage, very zingy. Large portions but so good we ate the whole thing. And the garlic bread, yummy. Everyone from the host to the server to the helpers were friendly, attentive and engaged in their work. Bravo!
