  • I scheduled an appointment for early on a Saturday morning to get a factory recall replacement done on both airbags in my pickup. Left it around 9 and was told it would take an hour to a hour and a half per airbag so I figured I'd be out of there by noon at the latest and decided to stay in the area, stroll around and get some breakfast and wait for them to finish. Long story short I didn't get out of there until FOUR in the afternoon. I don't know what the holdup was but if they'd told me it was going to take that long I would've had an Uber take me home and done something more productive with my day. There was also an issue with my fasten seatbelt indicator constantly going off while driving even though my belt was buckled. I figured it had to be a bad wire in the receiver and they discovered that, sure enough, both wires inside there had broken. To their credit, the service guy did suggest I could probably order and replace the seatbelt assembly myself instead of paying them to do it but I didn't think it was necessary to even do that. I just took it in to my work with me and soldered the two wires back together. Would've been nice if they could've done that for me considering how long they had my truck there but, either way, the issue got resolved. This experience was actually a month ago and I'm only writing about it just now because for some weird reason I've been receiving calls from their sales people regarding a vehicle I asked about that, in reality, I never asked them about. I didn't even speak to any sales people when I was there so how they have a record of me inquiring about buying something is beyond me. Unless it's some kind of spam BS sales tactic but, whatever the reason, it's getting annoying. I thought I'd cleared this up with the first dude who called and gotten my name out of their system and last night I see I have a missed call and voicemail from yet another one of their sales people wanting to talk to me about another vehicle I never asked them about. So, here ya go, Desert 215. You harass me about buying vehicles I never wanted to purchase in the first place and you get a crappy review. You're welcome. NOW STOP CALLING ME.
