  • If you want a pool with problems that this company won't cover under their warranty then this is your company. If you want a company that stands behind their product - go elsewhere. We paid $10,000 for a slide/grotto/waterfall on TOP of the price we paid for the pool. The structure has been nothing but a headache. We had California Pools out TWICE within the first four years of the pool being built because the structure and slide had multiple cracks. Not surprisingly their subcontractor went out of business. However, the third time the structure cracked they would not repair it. So we hired their contractor that THEY recommended. Now, two years later, there is a large hole in the structure along with more cracks. They sent a superintendent to our house. I was home and waiting for the person. No doorbell ring, nothing. Just a vague note that the hole was caused by cracking. We called the superintendent and he said the warranty department would get back to us. No call. So we called. She said - it's not covered. I said, unacceptable. She said someone would call us back. No call. Well, my husband just got off the phone with the warranty department supervisor and guess what. They won't cover the repairs. We can pay their cost. Well, we've paid for this thing, maintained it and now they won't stand by their product and subcontractors. We will not recommend this company to any of our friends. In fact, my husband just recommended them to a co-worker who signed a contract. We will be sure to tell him of our experience. This company doesn't call us back and won't stand behind their product.
