Wow Customer service hit a new LOW!!!!!
Checked in by Kevin at the front desk. Everything was going fine. Told wife I would go for a run to build an appetite before the buffet that night. When I returned I found my wife coming off the elevator in tears with my 11 month old son also in tears. I was like whats going on. She told me the power in the room went off and she called the front desk which never picked up the phone. Then told a maid who in turn told her there was nothing she could do. Then she found another maid who attempted to call maintenance.
Well it was 2 damn hours later and my son and wife were getting scared still with no power sitting in the DARK. So they left the room and went downstairs where by the grace of god they ran into me coming back from running.
I went to the front desk ASAP. Where I talked to Kevin again. He said this issue was over his head and he went back to talk to the manager. MYRA. He came back and said if we could just wait longer for Maintenance to show up. I was like go back and see if Myra could come out. So he goes back and comes back to the front desk again, still no manager "MYRA". He then tells me she is busy. At that point I fucking lost it. I was like this is fucking bullshit etc etc raising my voice. So he goes back a god damn 3rd time.
Finally Myra comes out. With a total attitude like what was so god damn important that I she had to stop updating her profile status on Facebook or whatever else she was doing.
I told her what what going down. How there was no power etc. For 2 hours no power, how people are blowing me off left and right. Then I was like you wouldn't even come out till three times the front desk clerk asked you too. She then got in my face and implied you get what you pay for. Which shocked me since we all know that this hotel is cheap, but I guess that you have to sit in the dark or something when the power fails. By that time my wife stepped in and at least got her to switch our rooms.
Look I could go on and on about this place. But I guess in the end MYRA the front desk manager is right. Don't expect much. You get what you pay for with this hotel.
