  • HONESTLY didn't know what to expect... but finally got the chance to come in especially since we promised to come in after we met one of the managers while dining at our favorite sushi joint YUMMY GRILL & SUSHI while we were eating at the bar top... The decor of this place is simple & in my opinion if what I call cute & chic. They have a chalk wall where they have handwritten specials & social media references. They have booths along the wall & tables in the center of the resteraunt with the bar closest to the kitchen. We were greeted right away & seated right away. Our hostess gave us a rundown of what they were all about & lucky for us we came in for HAPPY HOUR TIME which we thought ended at 6 but was informed that it ends at 7 YAY =] Our server came right over & helped us out on what are the best items as well as showing us the portable chalkboard of their daily special! I did wish they had the prices written down though. Multiple servers checked up on us throughout our dinner & constant refills on our waters. WHISKEY BARREL BREW BEER 15.00- I personally do not like whiskey but the hubby loves it & I love beer but he doesnt... then this large bottle of AWSOME came along & it was a whole new world & connection for us ahhaha. It was suttle & smooth with a caramely richness with a bit of chocolate bitterness. YOU JUST GOTTA TRY IT!! VIETNAMESE BEEF CARPACCIO 11.95(9.95 HH) - WOW amazing sauce that it is served with & thinly thinly sliced beef that is rare & o so TENDER!! SERRANO WINGS 6.95(0.50 each HH) - so crispy & hot (temperature wise) the wings could have definately used a little more seasoning itself but when you eat it with the serranos it has some more flavor. GARLIC FRIES 2.95HH - crispy fries with fresh sautéed chopped garlic giving it a full blast of flavor BIG BONE SOUP 14.95 - O My... FLINTSTONES sized bones as it is served whole bones with some meat at the bottom of the soup bowl with broth! So much marrow comes out of the bones when you poke it out with the knife provided. You also get the tendon! STEAK & EGGS 13.95 - like the traditional cubed peppered steak that most Vietnamese resteraunt serve but i would say a little different & maybe the least favorite of the choices that I ate but still good. Just different from what I was expecting. SEA SNAIL SOUP - not really for my taste buds... ahhah the broth was a little too fish saucy for me 1/2 DOZEN OYSTERS 9.95(1.25 each HH) - amazingly fresh with awsome cocktail sauce CRISPY EGG ROLLS 6.95(3.99 HH) - taro & pork with veggie filling served with lettuce and mint leaves OXTAIL LOCO MOCO - a little liquidy compared to most Loco Mocos I have had but maybe that is there style... regardless the flavor is tasty goodness. OXTAIL FRIES 9.95 - full of flavor & seriously think they use some of the pho broth to make the oxtail sauce that is drenched over the crispy thin fries. PORK BELLY BUNS 7.95(3.99 HH) - the pork literally just melts in your mouth & the white bun so soft & chewy as it should be COCONUT ICE CREAM - not 100% sure if they make it but the ice cream itself also has some chunks in it & it also comes in a fresh coconut shell! PANDAN CREME BRULEE - I THINK that's wat it was called but honestly the most addicting creme brulee... rich in flavor & vibrant in color with a perfect sugar shell Overall this is a new favorite place for Vietnamese cravings that is a GIVEN! The broth for the pho soup base also reminds me of pho back in Cali which is always comforting with blasts of flavor!
