| - So frustrated & disappointed with my recent appt with the service dept @ Sanderson Ford. I made an appt for some issues w/ my 2013 Ford Focus, my appt was a wk out as the appt receptionist said my car needed to been seen in the tranny area & they were backed up that far. After waiting that extra wk, my appt was for 7am last Wednesday. Upon arrival I spoke to my service advisor & was told the tranny dept was backed up & my appt was only to discuss my vehicles issues w/ a service advisor. That was quite confusing since the appt person had asked me about the issues I was bringing it in for. WTH? Service advisor said I wld need to bring it back for the actual diagnosis (&potential work) on Monday, June 7th @ 7am. I had a conflict so made an appt for Tues, June 8th, @ which point my car will "get in line" for the transmission area. I was told it will need to be there about 3 days til it would be looked at, leaving me w/o my car, no loaner, no rental. (after diagnosis, I may qualify for a rental during the actual repairs) I inquired if I cld just bring my car in on the actual day they wld be looking @ it, but was advised,no, bcz they may get to it sooner. What a crappy way to run a business! I went to Sanderson on advice from a friend, but I'm certainly NOT impressed. I am also concerned that my car has another issue & I need that diagnosed & repaired as well, but am unclear whether that will be taken care of while it's "in line" for the tranny shop. I was advised my car is only under manufacturer warranty til June 17th so based on that new information, we don't have alot of time. (was unaware that manufacturers warranty ends when car is 3 yrs old even if I'm not anywhere near 36k)The entire process regarding repairs @ Sanderson is a screwed up mess, I'm hoping the actual repair process goes better than the appt process! I'll be adding another rvw after the actual repairs are done.
