| - This was much better than the Foodie Fest at the Linq in the past.
I always recommend coming prepared with cash, prepurchasing your tickets, and preparing to stuff yourself.
The weather was absolutely beautiful, and parking was fairly close, which I appreciated. We came right when they opened, which was great because the crowd was smaller, but some of the trucks and stands aren't quite ready then.
I don't really understand the rides and few random vendors. It's almost like they are going for a San Gennaro feel, but I would actually just prefer more food trucks.
We tried several cookies (disappointment), waffles (meh), grilled cheeses (yum), and a quesadilla (AMAZING). There was a good selection, and more trucks appealed to me than in the past.
Overall, the food was a little expensive. You're already paying admission, so it can be painful to spend $12 on each dish, especially if you just want to try it.
If they could lower the prices, this event would be 5 stars. Overall, it's still worth going to, typically.
