| - I was very excited to have a lunchy brunch at St. Francis this past Saturday. I was impressed by the environment and decor, but once I was served a rather average $9 Bloody Mary, the experience began to degrade.
I ordered the highly hyped Chile Burger. It's touted to be the best burger in the state. I beg to differ. It wasn't terrible, however it just wasn't all that exquisite.. The beef was kinda squishy and flavorless, and the spicy factor overpowered the flavors. This may just be a problem with my gut, but I began feeling kinda sick as I was eating it, and then spent the entire rest of the day experiencing horrific gut trauma. That's not why I'm giving St. Francis a 1 star review, though. The reason for the 1 star review is because my boyfriend and I experienced a bad case of waitress neglect. She probably spent a total of 2 minutes at our table. When the check arrived we were ready to pay immediately, and after waiting over 15 minutes, we took the check downstairs, and had to pay that way. She chirped out some sort of insincere apology, and I gave her a dirty look. The restaurant wasn't super busy, and we were the only party left upstairs at that point. This is inexcusable.
