  • What a cool museum. This was my first visit to the desert so I was eager to learn about what lives here and how. If you arrive on time for a tour, take it! Our docent tour guide, Sandy, was very informative. She took us around and explained so much. I loved her bag of show and tell goodies that she carried, taking out things to show us and pass around as she explained the various plants. After the tour we walked the two short hikes and visited the few areas that we didn't see on the tour. I can easily see how you could spend a day here. We spent a good four hours and really enjoyed ourselves!
