  • I premise this review that I'm not a big fan of American breakfast. For me, I can't differentiate the best of the best for this staple American cuisine. In any event, came to this popular locals' spot in LV. I tried the strawberry filled French toast with bacon and scrambled eggs. I also tried a free banana nut muffin (it's free with Yelp check-in). The French toast was overbearingly sweet. The French toast on it's own without the strawberry madness was moist and fluffy; however, the strawberry filling along with the strawberry topping and the whip cream really overdid it. It was hard for me to finish. The eggs and bacon were standard fare. Nothing to note. I tried some of my buddy's chicken fried steak. Again, decent seasoning, but tasted a bit too heavy for my liking. What stood out for me was the banana nut muffin. It was moist and the muffin top was crispy. Even better that it was free. I liked how it didn't have too many walnuts in it. Nice balance between breading and nuts. Service was fast and courteous. I would say if you're looking for a popular American breakfast spot, check out Egg & I.
