  • Let me preface this review by saying I have extremely high expectations of the service people we do business with. JR's Custom Coatings exceeded all of my expectations. Jack is a an incredibly skilled painter and a stand up guy. He came highly reccomended by people we trust but we still called around to different painters and got quotes. His still came out to be the cheapest based on the high quality paint he was using. He came to our house so we could meet him and showed him exactly what parts of the interior of our house needed to be painted. We were not completely sure about the color for a few rooms and he went to the paint store and got us color samples to put on the wall for us the next day. We chose colors and once it was on a good portion of the house- we decided it was not the right shade so Jack went back to the drawing board and worked with us until it was absolutely perfect. Given the fact it was our mistake, we expected a substantial revision to our invoice for all of the time he lost. Not the case, the nominal fee he charged was very reasonable. My husband and I are both working professionals and felt comfortable enough to leave him a key to the house while we were gone during the day. On top of that, he and his crew came with a precise plan and worked efficiently every day until we were satisfied. He was extremely considerate of the impact to our family while the project was underway and their work was METICULOUS. We couldn't be happier with the beautiful paint job. Thank you Jack and Crew.
