rev:text	Ever felt intimidated when entering an independent coffee shop in a neighbourhood that's nowhere close to resembling the comforts of the suburbs you've lived in all your life? No? Then maybe it's just me, and all I got from the barista manning the front was a pretentious, you-know-nothing vibe, and I don't know if I'm about that. I've been to a few indie cafes before and they've all been pretty friendly with a newbie like me, but I was a little turned off by the service and quality of the drinks a friend and I ordered here. It's a hot summer day, and what do we do? Attempt to get something something cold with a jolt of caffeine in it. My friend asked the dude for iced coffee. He replied that they don't have cold brew, and suggested for her to get an iced americano. The iced americano she got to go was 2/3 full, and seemed like they were a little skimpy on the shots (just one??) considering the cup looked to be a 16 oz one. I got an iced Mocha, and just like her drink it was underwhelming. 2/3 full, and was very milked-down. There's a faint taste of the chocolate as well as the espresso itself. I don't know much about how espresso drinks are made in coffee shops, but are they always automatically served not-full? is it because it was iced? I think the only thing we liked about the place was how sleek and cozy it was. White walls, framed/canvas art, hip decor and everything. The music playlist was nice too. I probably will go a different cafe in the area the next time I feel brave enough to temporarily leave suburbia...
