  • My friend Stephen and I went here for lunch today. He ordered the Chicken Teriyaki & Chicken Karaage lunch combo. It came with miso soup, salad, rice, and 2 kinds of chicken. I tried his chicken Karaage, it was very tasty, and salty - fried pieces of chicken. He seemed to enjoy it very much. He also ordered california rolls which he ate only 2 of. I took the rest. They were standard. I ordered the seaweed salad, very tasty, fresh and crunchy. YUM! I also had the tootsie roll and the spicy tuna roll. The tootsie roll was pretty good... nothing wrong with it, but it didn't wow me. The spicy tuna seemed off to me, I think the texture was a bit mushy? It wasn't very good... Spicy tuna is my favorite roll and I have to say I was kinda disapointed. The service was ok, our waitress was quick and efficient, but not very smiley or friendly. Bottom line: I've had better and I probably wouldnt take Morgan or Dom here... still searching for good sushi in Chandler/Gilbert :o)
