| - So the BF has a work trip in Vegas and invites me to come along. But since he was going to be stuck at a trade show all day, he booked a one hour aromatherapy massage for me at ESPA. Best BF ever! :)

I showed up to my appointment roughly one hour before my massage so that I could take advantage of all the amenities. They welcomed me with a warm moist towelette and a wellness shot of juice. There is also self-service complimentary snacks and drinks throughout the facility including trail mix, cookies, fruit, water, tea, and bottled juice. I was provided with a large locker, comfy robe, slippers, and towels. Because they want to maintain a zen-like atmosphere, they encourage to leave your phone in your locker. Although I only admired the hot tub from afar, I did get to enjoy the sauna and heated lounge chair. I didn't think it would be comfortable since it's made of tile but it's actually quite relaxing. Fifteen minutes before my massage, one of the spa attendees escorted me to another waiting area, closer to the massage rooms, where I found more snacks and another relaxing fountain.
My masseuse was awesome as was my massage! It was the kind of massage that makes me wonder why I don't get these done more often. I'm pretty sure I dozed off a bit. I'm pretty sure I snored a bit. Or maybe a lot. That's a compliment for the masseuse, right???
Side note: The massage table was super high tech. Not only is it heated but it can also incline on the upper body which made it handy when I needed to take a quick sip of water. The room has a heated hanger for my robe so that when my hour was up, I had something warm and toasty to wrap up in.
As I exited the massage room, the masseuse handed me something to drink. Might have been tea...might have been water...I really don't remember because I was so relaxed! She escorted me to decompress in the zen room which was filled with cushy lounge chairs and blankets. I took the chair closest to the waterfall fountain wall and laid in tranquility for who knows how long. I didn't care about time at this point.
It was tough but I somehow managed to leave the zen room. Showers provide soap, conditioner, body wash, razors, and shaving cream. Near the sinks, there's toothbrushes, toothpaste, mouthwash, lotions, face toner, face moisturizer, and makeup remover (which came in handy pre-massage). There's also hair dryers, combs, brushes, and other hair products for styling. For those of you that like to get extra clean, there's flushable wet wipes in the bathroom stalls.
I didn't want to leave but it was time to meet the BF for dinner. As I walked down the stairs to check out of the spa, I didn't even realize that my Boo was sitting in the waiting room...lol! He said that I looked suuuuuuuper relaaaaaaaxed :)
I think I need to make ESPA my Vegas tradition from now on :)
