Thanks to the ravages of Obama care, Humana (which was awful anyway) cancelled its AZ coverage. From there, I had to move to BCBS (only slightly better than Humana), which then promptly cancelled its AZ coverage, too, forcing me to take Aetna, my employer's policy. Aetna may be even worse than Humana. Not a single one of my preferred doctors is in the network. That coupled with the $6K out-of-network deductible makes the insurance worthless. The ONLY benefit I receive from having this insurance is that it allows me to invest money in a health savings account (HSA).
As another reviewer noted, the CSRs in Aetna's call center are not exactly the world's finest. The first guy I talked to had such a heavy foreign accent that I had to have him repeat every other sentence. Then he wrongly transferred me to my HSA provider even though I was asking for an insurance reimbursement, with which the HSA obviously has nothing to do. I then called back and got ANOTHER foreign CSR whom I could barely understand. This organization needs to get itself squared away.
