This is by far the best Italian food I have had in Phoenix. I went there for a date with my boyfriend, he had the spaghetti and fried mozzarella (made in house fresh). I had the seafood manicotti (best I've ever had by far), stuffed mushroom caps and a caprese salad. First of all I want to kiss the genius who created the brandy cream sauce for the mushrooms. It was phenomenal. Second the seafood manicotti actually had a bunch of seafood in it which is rare and appreciated. The caprese salad was more than the basic tomato and cheese with basil combo. They added roasted red peppers and artichokes and it was large enough to share. The friendly bartender Mel helped me choose a great wine that paired perfect with my meal . She also kept the man happy with great mixed drinks that didn't taste watered down like most bars. The atmosphere was beautiful . We sat on the patio and enjoyed the decorative lights and Italian themed building in the background. For a second it really took you out of Phoenix and made you feel like you were on vacation. The owner introduced herself and treated us like family. It is everything I miss in restaurants these days. The family operated , great food, great music, great decor and awesome overall environment. I Definitely have found our new Friday spot.
