  • Outstanding and very caring service all the way. Ignore comments from reviewer Marvin as his swipes are gripes not even remotely close to the five star (deserved) knowledge and service your pet will receive here. His comments sound like the ramblings of a disgruntled person who hasn't a clue as to what a superb operation this is - and note that his one star review is inconsistent with the many many many positive reviews for Southside. Ridiculous. We brought our 12 year old toy poodle here some months ago when a "high end" vet in a Cave Creek discovered a suspicious lump in her abdomen. I was quoted nearly $3000 for the surgery, biopsy, etc that they recommended. Got a 2nd opinion here and so glad I did! They evaluated the suspicious lump and provided options. Surprisingly they did not even charge me at all for the initial evaluation - not a penny! They said that since I scheduled a biopsy of the suspect tumor and removal of some other harmless rumors (which poodles get!) that the eval would not be charged. Wow. In the end they did the biopsy and the lump was fatty and harmless + the Doctor here beautifully removed about 10-12 baby skin rumors, stitching them all cleanly. They also brushed her teeth while she was under sedation. Entire bill was less than $1000 - and my gosh was I happy to have gotten a 2nd opinion with Southside. I can't recommend them enough. There is a good reason the Phoenix police use them for treating their K9's! Outstanding operation, caring treatment, fair prices
