| - This place is way over-the-top, to the moon-and-back, wickedly A-MAZING (compared to the only other Vegas buffet I tried, the Bellagio). Nonetheless, I was floored and in love and in a comatic food-gasm induced high after an over-indulgent brunch.
When we arrived at 10:30am during the week there was already a small line starting to gather; but it only took about 15 minutes to make our way to the front, order and be seated. The meal was under $60 for the two of us, but I have a feeling that prices varies according the season, time of day and day of the week...just like the food offers change. IMHO, it was worth every penny and I would do it all over again and again.
The atmosphere was cool and contemporary. The buffet layout was very easy to figure out, each station was labeled clearly. They had everything from Asian to Italian cuisine, diner style dishes to seafood delights and everything in between with a massive dessert station, of course.
The selection was huge, with lot of unique items. Everything I tried was either amazing or just good, some worthy of seconds while other items just a tasting. I was a kid in a candy store trying things I've never tried before, so much variety. I loved the Asian station with dim sum variety baskets and potstickers, the Mediterranean station with hummus and fresh pita was awesome and the diner's BBQ sliders were delish. But dessert was where it's at, holy sweet tooth where's the fairy!?! Two bite to three bite delights; cheesecake, cake pops, bread pudding, butterscotch pudding cups, coconut macaroons, apple bars, etc, I could go on and on...and complete with a revolving carousel cooler of gelato in a plethora of flavors.
This is where I'd come to attempt to get fat and deliriously happy.
