I recently emailed Customer service here regarding my recent stay. The following is the letter I sent :
"My daughter and I recently stayed at your hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. I have to say that we felt very uncomfortable and unwelcome at this hotel.
When we checked in they sent us to a floor that had major construction going on and the smell of paint was sickening. We had to move and they ended up putting us next to the garage where it was noisy all day and night.
Next, We went downstairs to gamble together and found an electronic roulette machine that looked like fun! My daughter wanted to sit next to me at the electronic roulette wheel but someone had left a note written on a napkin on one of the only available seats. The note said be back in 10 minutes but there was no one watching the machine and no money in it so we took the note off and sat down. About 15 minutes later a man and his wife came back and started harassing my daughter. There were now 3 seats available on the other side of the wheel but he wouldn't leave her alone. He was getting uncomfortably close to her face making snide remarks such as calling her a cunt and then threatened to call security to which she responded please do as she was feeling very threatened and uncomfortable... and to my amazement, the security guard came over and actually asked my daughter to leave her seat instead of asking the couple to play at the open seats (which there were now 3 available)My daughter went back to the room, started crying and refused to play the rest of the night.
The next night we sat down at the bar and asked the bartender to purchase a drink. He said if we play for a while a light on our machines would go on to alert him and the drinks are then free. So we played for almost 15 minutes and spent at least $20 but he didn't come back for drinks so I finally flagged him down and asked if my light was on yet and he said no, you have to play 5.00 in 30 seconds or it won't come on...Should have mentioned that at the beginning. He then gave us intense attitude telling us it's not his rule and oh well maybe we should just buy a drink.
Later at the tables there was only one friendly dealer that we encountered, the rest were in their own world trying to deal as fast as possible. No personality, all business. I know you are in the business to make money but this one dealer was so fast I got dizzy watching her. No interaction with the dealers makes it no fun at all to play at the tables.
My daughter and her friend purchased drinks at another bar and left the old drinks on the counter and the bartender actually flagged them down as they were walking away and told them to throw their old drinks away. Since when is it not a bartenders job to take the old drinks when giving new ones?? These are things that alienate your guests and make us feel very unwelcome.
I called the opt green service and asked how to cash in on the 20.00 that I had earned opting out of maid service because I didn't see any credits on my invoice. She insisted it had come off when we ate at chart house and claim jumper. I told her I was looking at the invoice and didn't see it but she insisted it was. I have the original receipts and they are the same, no credit. But she was very unhelpful and acted like I was inconveniencing her for even asking.
I opted out of maid service for 2 days so I didn't get any waters. On the last day as I was walking down the hall from my room I asked for a bottle of water from a person with a cart of water and was told that because I was checking out I had to pay $4.00 for the water.
We were so uncomfortable, we felt discriminated against. This was absolutely undoubtedly the worst experience we've ever had in Las Vegas and to be honest I did not even feel comfortable bringing this to anyone's attention in person as I did not feel it would be addressed or taken care of based on all our experiences there.
This is the first time I have ever felt like an establishment was doing me a favor by allowing me to stay there instead of being treated like a guest."
To this letter they responded offering me a refund of my resort fee of $90 something dollars. I spent over $900 at this place during my last stay, NOT including the $900 I spent gambling at their hotel alone and the best they could do was say sorry here's $90??? You're serious? If this was my business I would have offered a free stay there for them to have the chance to make up for the many short comings. If I could give negative stars I would.
I Will never be retuning and I will make sure every one of my friends and friends of friends never visits this establishment either.
