I went here for the first time yesterday and I didn't really like it. To me, it is not a Farmer's Market - it is a market full of novelty booths and food vendors. I just kept thinking "where is all the produce??"
The layout is cruddy; I incorrectly assumed that they'd improve it from the Currie Barracks layout and give people more room to move around...it feels like a lacking version of Currie Barracks, which was at least aesthetically pleasing.
It would be nice if you just want to get out and shop around and taste some local food but not if you actually want to shop for produce or if you need items for canning. The latter is what we needed and we ended up driving to Crossroads for everything we were looking for, at a better price to boot. I feel like the fresh produce is so sparse at Kingsland that they up the prices because there is not much competition. Not for me.
