| - I have been a member of 24 for the past ten years. My membership allows me to visit other locations, so I definitely take advantage of that whenever I can. This location is in a nondescript area that's pretty quiet. Surrounded by neighborhoods and a few businesses, I was pretty surprised at how quiet and empty it was on the outside.
They have a large parking lot and I was truly amazed at how large it was on the inside. The facility is kind of rectangular in shape, with both upper and lower levels. Walking in, there was no one at the front desk, but the reception area was large and they had their little store to the side of the desk. Directly in front of you, once you pass reception is the cardio equipment, surrounded by some of the weight machines. Still on the upper lever, I continued toward the back and saw offices to my right and the men's and women's locker rooms.
The locker room was larger, clean, and fairly empty except for me and a few other women. It appeared dated, as did the rest of the facility, but it was as up to date and clean as it could be for an older location. When I tell you this place has a lot of space, I mean it! I did not think that it was as big as it was. It certainly didn't look that way from outside.
Stepping out of the locker room, there is a weight room at the very back that has equipment that I've been wishing my regular gym had. It was exciting to be able to use equipment that I've wanted to use for so long. You can then step down into another large room that is also full of equipment. I'm not sure of the numbers, but this location was well equipped, with two and even three of the same machines. I like that, because nothing irritates me more than waiting for a machine that someone has planted their ass on and instead of working out, they're on their phone and sitting there for 20-30 minutes...not exaggerating.
