  • Carl's Donuts has had a popular following since 1966 apparently. But, I'm newish to Vegas. So Carl's Donuts is new to me. I am a HUGE FAN now. Love at first bite! And the staff rocks - attentive, warm, & welcoming. They've only done wholesale for the past 20 years. But this Spring (2018), Carl's Donuts opened a retail shop near Wayne Newton's Casa de Shenandoah. Address: 3170 E. Sunset Road Phone: 702-715-1719 Hours: Open daily from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Customers can watch the sweet treats being made through a window into the bakery. They offer raised, cake, fancy favorites (such as apple fritter & cinnamon roll), iced, filled, pastries (such as croissants & kouign amann), cookies, brownies, muffins, and bi-monthly doughnut specials. Follow them on Instagram or Facebook to find out what those specials are. Start your day here & get a baker's dozen to go. Great way to make friends at the office or in the neighborhood. Trust me on that ;)
