Good drinks, good food- much needed creole/Cajun addition to the city (for those of us who NOLA didn't cut it for). Get the gumbo- it's a beautiful things as is the creole spiced shrimp cocktail.
I love the I Mississippi you as far as drinks go.
Only reason I didn't rank this higher stars is 1. The entree sized plates get to be a bit pricey ($24 for shrimp and grits?!?!).
The biggest drawback is the parking situation- basically you aren't getting close unless you have a parking fairy. There is extremely limited street parking, a public lot 5 blocks away And no valet. Hard to convince some people to come here with those as options
